BAH - Hepburn has seven more months in president's chair

When the Bahamas Basketball Federation (BBF) holds their annual general meeting in November of this year, current President Lawrence Hepburn says he will not seek re-election. In addition, he said that he will not seek any other position either.

JAM - CHANCE FOR JABA PRESIDENT TO PROVE HIMSELF

Congratulations to Ajani Williams for successfully retaining his presidency of the Jamaica Basketball Association on the weekend. There were periods in the run-up to the voting last weekend in Ocho Rios when it seemed as if Captain Clifton Lumsden had gained the ascendancy as word began to spread about Williams’s failings as president.

TRI - Holder Basketball Coaches president

Former national senior men's basketball coach Clement "Jovi" Holder was installed as the new president of the Basketball Coaches Association of Trinidad and Tobago at the annual general meeting last Saturday. Holder, who led National Flour Mills (NFM) to the national championship in 2003 and two Super 10 Basketball League titles in the  1990s, was elected unopposed at St Joseph Secondary School (formerly Curepe Junior Secondary School).
