Returning Pamela Rosado will lead Puerto Rico in Women's Centrobasket Championship


 The Puerto Rican National Federation (FBPUR) announced the 12-player roster that will represent the country in the Women’s Centrobasket Championship 2017, from July 12-16 in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands.

The International Basketball Federation in the Americas announced that St. Thomas, in the Virgin Islands, will host the 2017 edition of the Women’s Centrobasket Championship, from July 12-16. The tournament will feature the national teams from the Bahamas, Guatemala, Jamaica, Mexico, Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, and will be broadcasted live on FIBA’s official YouTube channel.

Media Accreditation process now open for Women’s Centrobasket Championship


All media interested in the stars of tomorrow can apply for an accreditation to cover the Women’s Centrobasket 2017, which will take place in St. Thomas, Virgin Islands, on July 12-16. From Monday, June 26 to July 16, journalists should visit the FIBA Media Portal and register on the platform.



VIN - Bequia Basketball Elects Executive Committee for 2017-2019 period


The Membership of the Bequia Basketball Association elected a new Executive Committee to serve for two years from 2017 to 2019 on June 19th at the Bequia District Council. Sabrina Mitchell was re-elected uncontested as President, to lead the organization for another term. The annual tournament, going into its 19th consecutive season begins soon, opening on July 15th and running until August 27th.

FIBA's official website FIBA.com has become FIBA.basketball after the International Basketball Federation on Thursday officially launched the .basketball domain name.
